LAMB Board President Karen Crawford and her husband JC, are taking a team of volunteers to San Lorenzo, Ecuador from June 5 to 14. They will be performing a variety of tasks including cleaning, painting, general maintenance and landscaping. In addition, they will be building a proper chicken coop with nesting boxes for the Clinic’s chickens. Because one of the team members has cabinet-making experience, they will also be building some shelves and storage cabinets. Team members include: Jim and Judy Glenn, Jim Hogenson and Bruce Van Tilburg from Fort Wayne, IN and Amanda Groff, Rachel Lampson and Megan Shaddick from Paw Paw, IL.

The 3rd Annual Chili Supper was held on Saturday, April 24 and was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated; a special thanks to all the Silent Auction Sponsors for their generous donations. Dr. Jane gave an inspiring presentation about her work in Ecuador. We are currently working on creating a DVD of Dr. Jane’s presentation. If you were unable to attend the Chili Supper, you will still be able to watch the presentation.
